The next day we hit both Jamestown and Yorktown. Both were the reenactment centers (as opposed to the battlefield/archaeological dig). That was fine. The boats at the Jamestown landing we quite small - since we compare all sailing ships to the Charles Morgan in Mystic. We ended up talking to the knot guy for quite a while - and S. did Scouts proud, handling the "can you tie this" part. Lunch at Chipolte was his reward, honestly it was his biggest priority of the week, I think. Yorktown was ok - the encampment was cool - the Surgeon guy was good - don't sample the saltpack barrel of pigs feet - it tastes awful.
The last day was a free day. S. and I did a little www.geocaching.org - found a cool one. Then we all went mingolfing - us and Uncle Van's family. Then a stint in the pool with all the kids. Then back to work on Sunday.
